What is Osgoode PD's Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Law?
Osgoode Professional Development's Artificial Intelligence and the Law is a two-day live online program from York University's law school, now in its fourth year. It covers Canadian and global AI regulation, governance and risk, AI-generated evidence, intellectual property, cybersecurity and practical prompt engineering.
The 2026 edition runs on 27–28 October with a replay on 26–27 November and 120 days of recording access. It is accredited by the Law Society of Ontario and the Law Society of British Columbia for 11.75 CPD hours. The fee is CAD 1,895 plus tax, with discounts for newly licensed lawyers.
